Data deletion
MathMotion Dashboard · Last updated 2 September 2026
The MathMotion Dashboard is a private tool with two users. Everything it stores about you can be deleted, and there are three ways to do it: yourself inside the Dashboard, by email, or by revoking access at the platform. They do different things, so the differences are spelled out below.
1. Delete it yourself, immediately
- Connections → Disconnect deletes that platform’s stored access and refresh tokens, its granted scopes and the connected account’s name, straight away.
- Library → delete an entry deletes that video’s original file, its watermarked copy, its thumbnail, its captions and its stored statistics.
2. Ask us to delete everything
Email mathmotion97@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, with “Delete my data” in the subject. Say whether you want everything removed or only a particular platform’s data.
What gets deleted on such a request:
- Your sign-in identity — name, email address and profile picture.
- Every stored access and refresh token, and the connected account names.
- Your videos, watermarked copies, thumbnails, titles, captions and calendar entries.
- Every post record and every stored statistic, including the history behind the Insights chart.
- The cached listing of your recent posts used by the import screen.
Your address also comes off the allowlist, so the Dashboard stops accepting sign-ins from it.
How long it takes. Data obtained from YouTube API Services is deleted as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days, as the YouTube API Services Developer Policies require. Everything else is deleted within 30 days. You get a confirmation by email when it is done.
3. Revoke access at the platform
You can cut the Dashboard off at the source, without going through us. This stops all future access immediately.
- Google and YouTube — https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions (also reachable at myaccount.google.com/permissions).
- Facebook — Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, then remove the app.
- Instagram — Settings → Website permissions → Apps and Websites, then remove the app.
- TikTok — Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions, then remove the app.
Revoking at the platform stops the Dashboard reading anything further, but it does not by itself erase what has already been stored here. To have that removed as well, send the email in step 2.
4. What we may still hold afterwards
Only our hosting provider’s ordinary request logs, which age out on their own schedule and which we do not analyse, and anything a law obliges us to keep — of which, for a tool like this, there is nothing we are currently aware.
