Terms of Service

MathMotion Dashboard · Last updated 2 September 2026

1. What this is

MathMotion Dashboard (“the Dashboard”) is a private, internal tool operated by the people behind the MathMotion channel. It stores our own videos, burns our own watermark into a copy, keeps the per-platform captions and the posting calendar in one place, and — once we connect them — talks to our own YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook accounts on our behalf.

It is not a product. There is no sign-up, no public version, no paid plan and no trial. Access is limited to a fixed allowlist of Google accounts belonging to its two operators, Thomas and Wannes. A sign-in from any other account is refused by the server, not merely hidden by the interface.

These Terms govern that use. By signing in, you accept them.

2. Who may use it

Only the two operators whose addresses are on the allowlist. You may not share your credentials, pass access to anyone else, or use the Dashboard on behalf of a third party. If you no longer want access, say so and the address comes off the list.

3. What it does

  • Stores an uploaded video in private storage, with the poster frame taken from it.
  • Renders a separate watermarked copy with ffmpeg. The original file is never modified.
  • Holds an independent title and caption per platform, plus a posting date and owner.
  • Connects the platform accounts you choose, so a video can be sent to them and the public numbers of your own posts can be read back.
  • Shows those numbers — views, likes, comments, shares — in one place over time.

4. Connecting your platform accounts

Connecting is optional, and each connection is made through the platform’s own OAuth screen: you sign in with the platform, you see the permissions being requested, and you decide. The Dashboard never asks for a platform password and never sees one. Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and you can withdraw them at any time — from the Dashboard’s Connections page, or directly with the platform.

Connect only accounts that you own or are authorised to manage.

5. The platforms’ own terms apply as well

Using the Dashboard does not put you outside the rules of the platforms it connects to.

YouTube. The Dashboard uses YouTube API Services. By using its YouTube features you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, available at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms. Google’s own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy at google.com/policies/privacy. You can revoke the Dashboard’s access to your Google and YouTube data at any time from the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

Facebook and Instagram. The Facebook Terms of Service and the Instagram Terms of Use continue to govern your accounts and everything published to them.

TikTok. The TikTok Terms of Service continue to govern your account and anything posted from it.

Where those terms conflict with these, theirs prevail for anything happening on their platform.

6. Your content stays yours

The videos, thumbnails, titles and captions you put into the Dashboard remain yours. It claims no licence over them beyond what it needs to do the job you asked for: store them, watermark them, and hand them to the platform you chose. Watermarking always writes a new file, so the original is recoverable. Deleting a library entry deletes the stored files that belong to it.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the Dashboard to prepare or publish content that breaks the rules of the platform it is headed for, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not attempt to reach it with an account that is not on the allowlist, probe it, or use it to obtain data that is not ours. Do not use it to collect or store data about anyone who watches or engages with the posts — it is not built for that, and it does not do it.

8. Availability

This is a private tool on a hobby hosting plan. There is no uptime commitment. It may be changed, taken offline or deleted at any time, without notice. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: the Dashboard is a workspace, not a backup.

9. No warranty

The Dashboard is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, nothing here promises that a platform API will stay available, keep its current behaviour, return accurate numbers, or accept an upload.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, the operators accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss, for lost content, lost reach or lost revenue, or for anything a connected platform does or fails to do.

11. Ending access

You can stop at any time: disconnect the platforms on the Connections page and sign out. Access ends when your address leaves the allowlist. To have the stored data removed as well, follow the data deletion instructions.

12. Changes to these Terms

Changes are published on this page with a new date at the top. There being two of us, a material change gets mentioned out loud as well as posted here.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
